The lake and the park are part of, and are administered by <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="Arial" ><I><U>Nockamixon </U></I></FONT><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Arial" ><I><U>State Park.</U></I></FONT></div> <div> The Park's marina area and launching ramp is located on the northwestern side of the lake. </div> <div> Mountain View road (Rt 563) runs parallel to the lake, so access can be made from either direction from Rt 313 or Rts 412/611, a distance of 31/2 to 4 miles respectively from either end. A side road, Harrisburg School Road, leads directly to the yacht basin / launch area about 1/3 mile off rt 563.
